Modern life and work demand more and more mobility from men and women. Planners and engineers are keenly searching for innovative, sustainable, solutions. We at RAIL.ONE have already thoroughly tested and tried our concepts – under extreme conditions.
The RHEDA 2000® ballastless track system represents the most advanced development stage of the RHEDA family of tracks. This system is employed for mainline and high-speed train traffic. The appreciable reduction of track structural height and weight by this track system allows it to be effectively installed in narrow tunnels and on relatively light bridges as well. Favourable construction costs, in conjunction with high levels of track availability, result in optimal cost effectiveness. As the latest and most innovative member of the RHEDA family, the RHEDA MRT was especially developed for applications in underground commuter systems and for heavy-rail suburban passenger lines. Welcome to the mass rapid transit system of tomorrow!
RAIL.ONE offers a range of effective solutions for problems with train-induced vibration and noise emission. These solutions are tailored to the noise-frequency range and to the type of structural-borne noise emission. Modifications in system structural design or in rail fastenings can achieve appreciable emission reductions. A spring-mass-mounted system offers additional possibilities: an elastic element between the track structure and the track substructure decouples the vibration phenomena. The result is attenuation in vibrations and reduction in propagation of structural-borne noise.
The RHEDA MRT system for mass rapid transit is characterized by its monolithic constructional design and its simple structural engineering. The design loads, considerably less than for mainline traffic, mean that significantly lighter construction is possible. Structural height is significantly reduced, and a trough design is no longer necessary. These characteristics simplify track installation, cut materials expenses, and enable reduction of the tunnel cross-section. The RHEDA MRT system is therefore optimally suited for application in tunnels, also with smaller track radii – with enhancements in quality and safety at the same time. Owing to its flat upper surface, RHEDA MRT provides favourable conditions for rescue exits.
RHEDA MRT
The ballastless RHEDA MRT track system copes effectively with high speeds and heavy vibrations under the ground.

The RHEDA MRT ballastless track system means tops in ride comfort, optimal safety, minimal maintenance and service efforts, as well as cost-effective construction. This system was especially developed for use in underground railway networks and in heavy-rail commuter systems.
